The band was again very noisy in the southeast today but propagation must have been fair due to some signals making it over the QRN.  AB4AM was copied very well by KP2AE, WA4LDU and W4DEX for the full two-minute transmission.  WY3T also copied AB4AM up to 549 with a deep fade into the noise.  AB4AM reported W4DEX fair copy with deep fades and WY3T at 329 with QSB.  WA4LDU also copied WY3T peaking 529 with QSB to 319.  

KGØVL was briefly copied by WW8II with the signal being detectable near the end of the transmission.  KØAWU reported KGØVL's CW fair copy with deep QSB fades.  In the other direction KGØVL reported KØAWU's CW up and down with a peak of 529 and into the noise briefly.

160 meters in the southeast was inundated with QRN today making it difficult to gauge propagation.  Still some signal got though enough to indicate propagation possibly was better than yesterday.  KP2AE's signal was way over S9 on peaks at W4DEX where the QRN was averaging S8.  AB4AM was good copy on CW at WA4LDU, W4DEX, KP2AE and KW4DE.  AB4AM and WA4LDU copied WY3T on peaks.  WY3T copied AB4AM.  The most northern path was weak but still, KGØVL copied KØAWU 529 with some fades into the noise.   KØAWU reported Q5 copy of KGØVL with fades but not complete loss of signal during the usual two minute CW transmission.

Signals were down today.  WW8II was barely detected by KGØVL at 444 miles.  The best solid copy DX was by WY3T who received AB4AM's CW 539 to 549 at 294 miles.  WY3T also copied K4FI on peaks at 249 miles.  K4FI copied WY3T Q5 initially but lost the signal after the first half of the two minute transmission.  Signals between KW4DE, KP2AE, WA4LDU, K4FI and W4DEX had a lot of QSB going from S9 all the way into the noise at times.  All are within 103 miles of each other.  K4EMF copied AB4AM also seeing a lot of QSB on AB4AM at 32 miles.

Propagation was slightly better today than what we have recently experienced.  KGØVL and KØAWU had Q5 copy in both directions at 323 miles.  WY3T and W4DEX also copied each other Q5 at 336 miles.  WY3T copied K4FI at 249 miles and WA4LDU copied WY3T at 240 miles.  The most distant reception was WW8II copied by KGØVL at 444 miles.
