Even with a K index of 5 and a DST of -40 nT we still had several Q5 DX receptions. KGØVL and WW8II heard each other well enough to copy full calls on CW at 443 miles between the fades. WY3T copied K4FI 439 (249 miles), AB4AM 549 (294 miles), and W4DEX 329 (336 miles). WA4LDU copied WY3T 529 at 430 miles.
