QRN made even local signals difficult to copy today.   However, signals appeared to be as good as yesterday.  The real surprise was WA4PGI on SSB at 175 miles was as strong as KW4DE at only 16 miles.  Both were S9, well above the QRN.  W2AZQ, WA4LDU and AB4AM were barely Q5 most of the time over the noise.  WW8II and KGØVL reported nothing heard.  Also, no one reported hearing the CW transmissions made by them over the 500 and 800 mile paths.
