The geomagnetic field was unsettled and the solar wind speed was close to 600 km/sec. That may have contributed to the lower local signal levels and deep QSB fades. AB4AM was weak but Q5 copy only part of the time at KP2AE, W4AZQ and W4DEX. KP2AE at only 51 miles would go from into the noise to S3 at W4DEX. The 175 mile path to WA4PGI was slightly better. The best most consistent signal at W4DEX was from W2AZQ at 98 miles. Carl's signal was averaging S5 above the noise with very little QSB. On CW AB4AM had partial copy on WA4PGI at 328 miles. Still no receptions to or from the most distant stations, WW8II and KGØVL.
