WW8II PRE NET CW signal seen @ W4DEX

I again today transmitted 12 to 15 second CW carriers with ID every 1 minute from 1505ut to 1618ut. During that time we experienced a C4.24 flare that started @ 15:15ut Peaking @ 15:33ut and ending @ 15:41ut. There was a brief 14db D layer absorption effect @15:15ut
In the beginning of the CW transmissions we noted a QUICK DEEP QSB of 14 to 16 db. As received @ W4DEX 510mile path. Then @ 15:16ut, a gradual degradation in the signal levels . This was the beginning of the C level flare until the peak @15:33ut, C4.24 when signals deteriorated to, or just above the noise floor. Recovery of the signals never did return to what they were 1 hour earlier. And by the net 2-minute CW test at 16:40ut there was less than 1bd absorption in play and signals were again seen over the 510-mile path.
No conclusion other than signals deteriorated during the C4.24 flare event. A lot more data is needed, any suggestions on what we should do to further this study is welcomed. OR WHAT DO YOU SEE IN THIS DATA THAT WE MAYBE MISSING.
