The propagation wasn't as good today as we've recently seen but still much better than we experienced during the summer months.

  • WW8II had an initial SSB QSO with KW4DE at 529 miles
  • K5HFG was able to detect CW from W4DEX
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

116:38 WW8II-BRUCE: W4DEX Q5 SSB JUST ABOVE THE NOISE

16:38 WW8II-BRUCE: COMPLETE SSB QSO WITH W4DEX

16:41 WW8II-BRUCE: SOLID SSB Q5 COPY QSO WITH KW4DE

16:42 WW8II-BRUCE: SOLID 599 CW ON W4DEX

16:43 K5HFG: Light copy on W4DEX 219 in the noise, solid on the scope but no copy

16:44 K5HFG: I did make out a few of the calls

16:45 K5HFG: I can hear parts of WW8II in the noise, no copy

16:46 W4DEX-DEX: WW8II 599 with one fade down to 549

16:47 WW8II-BRUCE: HEARING K5HFG BURST NOT ENOUGH TO COPY

16:50 K5HFG: I think I could have worked W4DEX but it would be rough.
