WW8II and KGØVL were able to squeak out a weak CW QSO today.  W4DEX was able to barely detect CW from WW8II.  The only other reception was on the short 103 mile path between WA4LDU and W4DEX where signals between the two were good with noticeable QSB.  K5HFG was also present but was not heard and reported nothing heard at his QTH.

We have seen some evidence the east-west paths are often better than in a north-south direction.  A thought on that by WW8II:

"WW8II-BRUCE: it is those longitudinal magnetic lines we are trying to get through and at the shallow angle we seem to just skip along them but not cross where when at the same latitude we just go through with less loss.  I know my idea ????"
