Today we experienced the best mid-day 160M propagation we've seen since last winter.  Multiple DX QSOs were made:

WW8II CW QSO with WA4LDU at 583 miles
WW8II CW and SSB QSO with W4DEX at 510 miles

KGØVL CW and SSB QSO with W4DEX at 810 miles
KGØVL CW and SSB QSO with WW8II at 443 miles

WW8II-WA4LDU QSO as heard by W4DEX
(notice the QSB on WA4LDU vs how stable WW8II's signal is)
       WW8II-WA4LDU QSO MP3 recording

KGØVL CW at W4DEX
(notice the +10dB level burst.  Such instantaneous signal peaks have been reported by multiple stations on multiple paths.  No lightning on the North America map was showing up during this burst.)
KGØVL CW burst received at W4DEX

WW8II also copied SSB on a peak from KP2AE
KP2AE heard CW from WW8II

16:35 W4DEX-DEX: WW8II good SSB copy....actually stronger
          on peaks than locals

16:36 WW8II-BRUCE: W4DEX solid copy on SSB solid QSO
          at 1628 ut

16:37 WW8II-BRUCE: KG0VL solid SSB QSO 1634ut

16:37 WW8II-BRUCE: Hearing W4DEX as good as S9 on the
          top of QSB

16:42 WW8II-BRUCE: I am hearing KP2AE SSB in the noise

16:43 WW8II-BRUCE: W4DEX still S5 to S7 on SSB

16:43 WW8II-BRUCE: I am using the SAL antenna for receive

16:44 W4DEX-DEX: KG0VL 559

16:44 WW8II-BRUCE: KG0VL 599 solid

16:44 W4DEX-DEX: Also had a 599 burst on KG0VL

16:45 WW8II-BRUCE: KG0VL giving my S meter a work
          out S9

16:45 W4DEX-DEX: QSB down to 439 now

16:46 WW8II-BRUCE: KG0VL hit S9 plus 5 on CW

16:46 KP2AE-JOE: could tell KG0VL was in there but not
          much copy

16:47 WW8II-BRUCE: W4DEX 589 also peak 599 I was
copying off the back off the SAL

16:47 KG0VL-JEFF: W4DEX now in on CW

16:48 WA4LDU-JOE: Dex CW 579 on peaks

16:48 W4DEX-DEX: WW8II 599

16:49 W4DEX-DEX: With fast QSB dips

16:49 WA4LDU-JOE: Bruce CW solid 519

16:50 KG0VL-JEFF: WW8II FM quality here

16:51 WA4LDU-JOE: KG0VL CW detectable in the scope
          but no copy

16:52 KP2AE-JOE: WW8II was 549

16:52 WW8II-BRUCE: I copied both sides of the CW QSO
         SOLID between KG0VL and W4DEX

17:03 WW8II-BRUCE: OK I copied WA4LDU 559 then 519

17:07 WW8II-BRUCE: KG0VL and W4DEX SSB with
WW8II QSO chatting back and forth

17:10 WW8II-BRUCE: 73 KG0VL S9 +10db on the inverted
          V SSB

17:11 W4DEX-DEX: Local signals not very good today and
had QSB into the noise at times
