19 January 2020
Propagation above the 40th parallel north was fairly good but across and below the 40th parallel conditions were rather poor.  Signals between WW8II, KØAWU and KGØVL were good with all being SSB QSO quality less some occasional fades.  Signals between AB4AM, K4FI and WB4WCJ were much weaker today.   K5HFG was able to copy AB4AM on SSB during a few propagation peaks.

W4DEX was not present but was recording the CW transmissions.  KGØVL was weak but readable during the two-minute transmission averaging only 439.  K5HFG was detectable, K4FI 579 with fades to 549, WW8II 439 with fades into the noise.  The above RST based on how the signal was heard, not S meter readings:

R:
1.  Unreadable
2.  Barely readable, occasional words distinguishable
3.  Readable with considerable difficulty
4.  Readable with practically no difficulty
5.  Perfectly readable

S:
1.  Faint—signals barely perceptible
2.  Very weak signals
3.  Weak signals
4.  Fair signals
5.  Fairly good signals
6.  Good signals
7.  Moderately strong signals
8.  Strong signals
9.  Extremely strong signals

T:

 9. Pure DC tone
