For most of the test period today, local signals were stronger than usual with very little QSB. We have seen several times when local conditions are very good distant propagation is poor ant that is what happen today. Signal levels were at or near S9 between AB4AM, KP2AE, K4FI, WA4LDU and W4DEX. Although during the last few minutes of the test we started experiencing more QSB.
The distant paths produced either no or weak reports. The KØAWU / WW8II path was weak. There was no WW8II SSB contacts but his CW was readable at W4DEX. K5HFG's only report was a weak signal from AB4AM. WY3T was heard in the Carolinas but only on peaks.
