Propagation was still good today allowing many over 500 mile SSB QSOs.  Best distant for a SSB contact was:

17:54 KG0VL-JEFF: WA4LDU 51 on SSB, nice QSO, 833 miles

  ==================================================================
17:28 KG0VL-JEFF: Thought I heard Wilbur (W8LYX) on about ten minutes ago.

17:29 AB4AM-ROB: Had an SSB contact with W8LYX 5/8 @ 16:50 and WB4WCJ 5/8

17:30 WW8II-BRUCE: W4DEX IS 55 SSB

17:31 WW8II-BRUCE: KG0VL WAS 44 WHEN RESPONDING TO W4DEX

17:33 WW8II-BRUCE: I HEAR AB4AM 51 CALLING KG0VL

17:33 WW8II-BRUCE: KG0VL WAS 52 ON THAT EXCHANGE

17:34 WA4LDU-JOE: copied KG0VL answer AB4AM just above the noise

17:34 WW8II-BRUCE: I HEAR K4FI IN THE NOISE UNABLE TO COPY

17:35 AB4AM-ROB: QSB is present today Hearing better on the Inverted V over the Flag

17:35 WW8II-BRUCE: KG0VL 539 QSB

17:35 WW8II-BRUCE: KG0VL FADED TO BELOW NOISE THEN BACK TO 529

17:35 W4DEX-DEX: KG0VL SSB 5x5, CW 589

17:36 AB4AM-ROB: KG0VL 579 slight QSB

17:36 WA4LDU-JOE: copy complete call from KG0VL cw but in and out of the noise

17:36 WW8II-BRUCE: HEARING KG0VL BETTER ON INVERTED V TODAY 579

17:37 W4DEX-DEX: KG0VL CW 589 initially down to 559 at end of transmission

17:37 KG0VL-JEFF: WA4LDU 519, weak but steady

17:38 AB4AM-ROB: WA4LDU deeper QSB 559 to 599++5

17:38 WW8II-BRUCE: NOW DETECT POSSIBLE CW NOTE UNABLE TO COPY

17:38 W4DEX-DEX: WA4LDU 599 with one slow fade down to 579

17:38 WW8II-BRUCE: WA4LDU NOW 519

17:38 K4FI-DOUG: Copied KG0VL solid 4x4

17:39 WW8II-BRUCE: AB4AM 559

17:39 WW8II-BRUCE: QSB ON AB4AM 519 TO 559

17:40 WA4LDU-JOE: AB4AM CW 599 + with some QSB

17:40 WW8II-BRUCE: AB4AM 529 ON THE INVERTED V

17:40 W4DEX-DEX: AB4AM Initially 599 then one slow fade to 569 and back up to 589 at end

17:41 KG0VL-JEFF: AB4AM goes from 579 to noise and back rather quickly

17:41 WW8II-BRUCE: W4DEX IS SOLID 599 ON THE SAL 559 ON THE INVERTED V ANTENNA

17:42 WW8II-BRUCE: W4DEX SIGNAL PRETTY STEADY 599 ON SAL

17:42 WA4LDU-JOE: Dex CW 599+ to 559 and back

17:42 AB4AM-ROB: W4dex 599+ slight QSB to 579

17:43 KG0VL-JEFF: W4DEX loud at S7 on the TX vertical antenna

17:45 W4DEX-DEX: WW8II 579 with one slow fade down to 559 then back up to 579

17:45 WA4LDU-JOE: copy WW8II weak just above the noise in the 2nd half of the time-slot

17:45 K4FI-DOUG: WW8II is about S3 very slow QSB

17:45 AB4AM-ROB: WW8II 569-579 just above the noise

17:46 KG0VL-JEFF: WW8II up and down, 529-579

17:46 AB4AM-ROB: WB4WCJ just above the noise SSB

17:47 WW8II-BRUCE: W4DEX STILL55 SSB

17:47 KG0VL-JEFF: K4FI now Q5 on SSB

17:47 AB4AM-ROB: K4FI 5/8

17:47 WW8II-BRUCE: NOW HEARING K4FI IN THE NOISE

17:48 WW8II-BRUCE: W4DEX UP AND DOWN

17:49 WW8II-BRUCE: NO COPY ON K4FI

17:50 AB4AM-ROB: The Flag signals are coming up on WW8II

17:50 WW8II-BRUCE: KG0VL WAS STILL 55 LAST SSB TRANSMISSION

17:51 WW8II-BRUCE: KG0VL NOW QSB IN THE NOISE THEN 54

17:54 WW8II-BRUCE: I COPY W4DEX 55 CALLING AB4AM

17:54 KG0VL-JEFF: WA4LDU 51 on SSB, nice QSO, 833 miles

17:55 WW8II-BRUCE: KG0VL NOW55

17:55 WW8II-BRUCE: W4DEX STILL 54

17:56 WW8II-BRUCE: W4DEX GOOD COPY ON SAL NO COPY ON INVERTED V

17:57 WW8II-BRUCE: COPY AB4AM 51 TALKING TO W4DEX

17:57 KG0VL-JEFF: AB4AM 53 at sign off
