The Kp index was up to 4 and the solar wind speed was 504 km/sec today.  This seemed to produced some good signals on a few paths and poor propagation on others.
  • KGØVL on CW was detected by WY3T at 1012 miles.
  • KGØVL on CW was 589 at W4DEX, the strongest heard so far during the test.
  • The WW8II / WA4PGI path was very good while the WW8II / W4DEX path was very weak.

17:31 K5HFG: I can tell people are talking but no copy

17:33 W4DEX-DEX: KG0VL S5

17:33 W4DEX-DEX: WA4LDU and KP2AE also S5

17:36 W4DEX-DEX: WY3T S3

17:36 W4DEX-DEX: WA4PGI S5

17:40 W4DEX-DEX: KG0VL initially 589!

17:41 WY3T-TIM: Can tell he is in there but cannot copy KG0VL

17:41 WA4LDU-JOE: KG0VL CW 529

17:42 W4DEX-DEX: KG0VL from 589 slow QSB down to 559 then back up to 589 at end

17:42 K5HFG: copy KG0VL 519 for 30 seconds and then gone.

17:43 KG0VL-JEFF: Hearing K5HFG 519 just above the noise

17:44 W4DEX-DEX: K5HFG initially 319, fade into noise, up to 439 at end

17:45 W4DEX-DEX: WA4LDU 589, same as KG0VL peak

17:45 W4DEX-DEX: WA4LDU QSB down to 559

17:46 K5HFG: hear sporadic CW but no copy on WA4LDU

17:50 WA4LDU-JOE: Now I hear Dex 599

17:51 WY3T-TIM: Copying W4DEX at 599

17:51 KG0VL-JEFF: W4DEX now 569 with QSB

17:52 K5HFG: copy W4DEX 519 1 minute then QSB to nothing

17:56 WW8II-BRUCE: nice 55 SSB QSO with KG0VL

17:57 WW8II-BRUCE: hearing w4dex in the noise

17:58 WY3T-TIM: Only copying DEX on SSB now at 3 x 4

17:58 WW8II-BRUCE: kg0vl was only 52 copy that transmission

17:58 W4DEX-DEX: WW8II Q3 copy

17:59 W4DEX-DEX: WA4PGI QSO with WW8II 5x5

17:59 WW8II-BRUCE: WA4PGI 55 TO 59 SSB QSO WITH WW8II

18:00 KG0VL-JEFF: WA4PGI was Q5 during Bruce's QSO
