Propagation between stations in the southeast was noticeably down today. Even on the short 51 miles between KP2AE and W4DEX. WY3T, FL, was very weak into SC and NC. The most northern path between KGØVL and KØAWU was still holding up well:
17:55 K0AWU-BILL: KG0VL --- "Carbon copy of yesterday" 45db above noise floor first min then slow fade to 30db over next 30sec then back up to 45db at the end
Link below is KØAWU as received by KGØVL. Sounds as if KØAWU is next door instead of 322 miles away:
The KGØVL - W4DEX link seems to be holding up well. On CW KGØVL was 569 at W4DEX with one slow fade during the two-minute transmission. Several Q5 SSB exchanges were made. Just after the daily test closed KGØVL was in QSO with KØAWU and was still very good SSB copy at W4DEX.
